Special little guy

Corbin and I were making and decorating Halloween sugar cookies today – a day after Halloween- during Teller’s nap.  He was busy decorating a cookie for each of his loved ones and friends.  I asked, “are you going to decorate one for yourself?”  He said, “I know, mommy you decorate one for me because I’m your special little guy.”

Teller was still napping after cookie time so I asked Corbin if he would like to watch a short video, Richard Scarry’s Best Learning Video Ever.  Corbin sang a little song, “I want to learn, I want to learn, I want to learn” while climbing onto the couch.

Teller has started to say Noooooo to things like sitting in his booster chair to eat a popsicle he would rather not have the popsicle then sit in his booster.  “Can mommy set you down?”  “nooooo” “nooooo” “noooo”.  His please in sign language is still the same but instead of saying peassse he now says “come” or “wecome”  for you’re welcome.  He has it mixed up with please but has started to say thank you again instead of welcome covering all the bases. He even says please to nurse.  How cute no wonder he is still nursing.

Corbin was Superman and Teller a cowboy, Woody to be exact.  Corbin loved handing out candy but when it came down to the last handful of tootsie rolls he was reluctant to hand them out.  He wanted to save them for himself.  Teller was fairly freaked out by the costumes when we went door to door.  Particularly grim reapers, mean pirates, and skeletons.  We saw some pouts and sadness while clutching to James or I.
