Corbin had his 9 month check up and vaccinations. He weighs 19 lbs 15ounces and is in the 45% for weight, 29 ¼†long and in the 75% for length, and 97% for head circumference, yet I can’t remember the actual measurement. He is right on target or ahead for all the crucial milestones. He can wave and say bye, which surprised the doctor. He can also play ball and say ball, the doctor said he is doing things she would look for in a 14-month-old. I have those weird moments when I watch Corbin do a simple task or conquer a new skill and it feels like everything is right in the world because he is thriving and doing so well.
Corbin can crawl faster than a speeding bullet and pull the dog’s water bowl over even quicker. Actually he usually only goes over to the water bowl to dip and swirl his hand around and only tips it on accident. He goes to Saturday morning swim class, alongside 12 other infants and their devoted parents all oooing and ahhhhhing over the tiniest splash and expression of delight. We still haven’t remembered to bring our camera along. Corbin had a wonderful Easter, 2 baskets to play with and unwrap (one from his Gigi and one from Laura).
